Almost two years ago we released Billboard, our popular plugin that allows you to easily group photos and images like blog advertising and social icons and display in your sidebar or widget-ready area.

Billboard came out of the need we saw for adding images easily to WordPress Widgets. Right now, there’s still no good way to put images into widget-ready areas in WordPress themes.

And although Billboard does a great job, we also saw a need for other ways to uniquely display images and even text.

So today we’re rolling out a package we’re calling DisplayBuddy.

It’s a collection of plugins designed to showcase content (images and text) uniquely and easily on your WordPress site.

Instead of creating one gigantic plugin, we decided to separate out different ways to display your content through individual plugins under the DisplayBuddy product name. (This allows faster development time and easier support.)
