I’m having trouble using Amazon S3 to store my backups. Is there any support for that?

Hi Stephen,
Yes, there is support in the support forum. Just go to PluginBuddy.com and click “support”. You can log in with the same iThemes membership username and password.

Josh also just made a 10 minute video demonstrating exactly how to work with Amazon S3.

If that doesn’t answer your question, then check out the support forums.

Thanks for the password. I just purchased BackupBuddy. Is there a free upgrade path to BackupBuddy 2?
Thanks,
John

I’m a registered user and can’t upgrade. I’ve tried manually doing it and it doesn’t work.
I have the below message on my current plugin.
I don’t know my “key set”

There is a new version of this plugin available, 2.0.7. No key set or invalid. Manage your license for automatic upgrades.

Hi Thomas,
Can you post your question on the support forum? http://ithemes.com/support/backupbuddy/

That is where we handle all support requests – and I suspect you will find the answer to your question already covered there. If not, the support team will work with you on your individual situation/server issues.

Thanks!

Is it just me or are the videos not working on this website? I just see black boxes (I tried on Chrome and IE9)?

Nina East (Nina!) says: 08/11/2011 at 7:27 am

Hi Steve,
Maybe there was a temporary glitch? Just checked and the videos are playing fine on IE, Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

Where is the license key in the first place??

No video displays here.

Just bought the 10 Lic package and I’m already regretting it due to meandering, disconnected support: forums. One link to “training” from the sketchy wiki just goes in a loop back to the same page. The purchase process was also puzzling. Kept clicking a “if this doesn’t redirect in x seconds then…” and nothing was happening. Behind the scenes the plugin was downloading (each time I clicked) but how would I have known by looking at the screen? When I opened the download, I looked for a PDF set of step by step instructions. None. From there it has been confusion. I clicked on the first training item (regarding licensing) so I cam here and there is no video or — what would be better — text explanation.

I just ordered/paid for two more site lics. for sites we’ll be working on. None have been sent. Where do we go/do to view them?

Thanks

Video doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the page. Where can we find it?

We love your comments!
